Jake Harrison Pedestrian-vehicle accident Amory, Mississippi Death Obituary

The Amory community is deeply saddened by the death of Jake Harrison, a 19-year-old resident of Amory, Mississippi. On March 7, Jake was struck by a vehicle on Boulevard Drive South near Hatley Road and was transported to UMMC in Jackson, where he passed away shortly after arrival, according to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley.

His parents, Brian and Kelly Harrison, shared a heartfelt message: “Last night, Jake was struck by a car, and he passed away this morning at UMMC in Jackson shortly after arrival. We are heartbroken, but we feel God’s presence. We thank you all so much for your prayers. They mean the world to us and will carry us through the days ahead. We loved our boy and will miss him so much. Again, thanks so much for your love and support. –Brian and Kelly” (Psalm 34:1).

Jake’s life, though tragically brief, touched many. He will be remembered for his love, spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.
