M6 Suicide Death- Person Die after being hit by several vehicles’ on M6

A pedestrian has tragically died after being hit by multiple vehicles on the M6 near Warrington, Cheshire. The crash took place between junctions J21 and J21A early on March 8, with emergency services alerted just before 3 a.m. Cheshire Police confirmed the pedestrian’s injuries were fatal, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.

The northbound carriageway remains closed while authorities investigate. National Highways said Cheshire Police are leading the response, and traffic officers have been managing the closures and assisting vehicles caught in the area. A related closure between junctions J28 and J30 near Preston has since been reopened.

Additionally, a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident is being examined at a cordon set up at Tebay Services in Cumbria. Motorists are advised to avoid the M6 northbound and allow extra travel time as the investigation continues.
