Acworth, Georgia – Jordan Jones, 35, tragically lost his life early Saturday morning after being shot outside Saddle Bar in Acworth, Georgia. The incident occurred when Jones stepped in to protect a woman being assaulted in the parking lot after the bar had closed. His act of bravery, however, turned deadly when Daniel Parsons, the alleged suspect, shot him during the confrontation.
Jones, a graduate of Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville and a former player at West Alabama, was a man admired for his leadership and passion. While recently working as a substitute teacher and security guard, Jones was widely respected for his commitment to his community and his desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
