Jesse Brock Death- Missing found Dead Lawrence County, Indiana Obituary
A multi-day search for a missing man in Lawrence County came to a heartbreaking conclusion Tuesday morning when authorities located a submerged vehicle in a flooded area.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reported that Jesse Brock, 35, of Leesville, was reported missing Sunday after he was last seen Saturday night in Paoli heading toward his residence. Cellphone location data later placed him near Earl Road and Lawrenceport Road around 10 p.m., where floodwaters had overtaken sections of the roadway.
Law enforcement agencies quickly launched a coordinated search operation that continued for two days. Deputies worked alongside Indiana Conservation Officers and the Indiana State Police, deploying boats, drones, sonar equipment, and helicopters to survey flooded areas and nearby waterways.
On March 10, conservation officers located the truck Brock had been traveling in beneath floodwaters near the last known location. Authorities confirmed that Kasee Allman and Jesse Brock were both found inside the submerged vehicle.
Officials say relatives have been informed of the discovery. The case is now being handled as a death investigation by Indiana Conservation Officers, with the Indiana State Police assisting as authorities continue to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
